This article separates the manufacturer, device compatibility, and required functions from color and style. It is not a comparative test of band quality.
The Label Tells You the Source, Not the Quality Ranking
In this article, a brand band means a band sold by WHOOP under its own brand, while a replacement or third-party band comes from an outside manufacturer. These terms identify who sells or makes the product; they do not prove that every band in one group is better than every band in the other.
LUXE MORE's third-party bands are not WHOOP products and are not made or endorsed by WHOOP. But “third-party” does not mean counterfeit, nor does it indicate a band's level of quality.
A better way to decide is to assess each product individually: who sells it, which models it is stated to fit, what comes in the box, and what limitations apply.

Start With Your Device Model, Not the Color
WHOOP 4.0 uses a different band attachment system from WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG, so a 4.0 band does not fit either of the two newer devices. Even if the color name or appearance looks similar, do not infer compatibility from a photo.[2]
A WHOOP help article dated October 9, 2026 states that all 5.0 bands physically fit the MG. Guidance dated December 2, 2025 says that 5.0 bands were not designed for the MG and recommends choosing a band made for the device. Read together, these sources show that “fits” does not confirm access to every MG function—especially ECG, which requires a conductive clasp.[1][3]
LUXE MORE band compatibility must be checked by product line: SportFlex works with both WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG and can take ECG readings on the MG, while SuperKnit Luxe works with WHOOP 5.0 only. These are the rules for products sold by the store, not an endorsement or guarantee for every third-party band brand.

A clasp color name describes its tone; it is not evidence of a particular metal. A front-view photo also cannot be used to inspect the attachment point.
If You Use ECG, the Clasp Is the Deciding Factor
Taking an ECG on WHOOP MG requires a band-and-conductive-clasp assembly that supports the function. A band fitting the device does not mean it can take ECG readings.[1]
LUXE MORE bands support different devices by product line. SportFlex works with WHOOP MG, and its clasp has the contact points required for ECG readings, so it can take ECG readings on the MG. SuperKnit Luxe works with WHOOP 5.0 only. Compatibility should not be inferred from the term “third-party” alone.
Do not use a collection name as a substitute for the product details. Even among bands from WHOOP, not every band necessarily supports ECG. Check whether the product page for that model states ECG support and whether it includes the required conductive clasp.
Check What Actually Comes in the Box
A product name or styled photo may show the device, band, and charms in the same frame, but the listing details determine what is actually sold. LUXE MORE band listings generally include the band only—not the WHOOP device or charms—unless the specific product page says otherwise.
You should also check what is included with a band from WHOOP, especially when a function depends on a particular clasp or component. Do not assume from the word “band” alone that every set includes the same parts.

Choose a Color and Style That Work With Your Look
If ECG is not a function you need, a replacement band gives you another set of choices in band colors, band styles, and clasp colors. LUXE MORE provides real product photos so you can examine the details before choosing and compare the band tone with clothes you already wear, rather than deciding from a color name alone.
Examples available in the store when this article was prepared included SuperKnit Luxe in several colors and SportFlex in Drift. Stock can change, so check the current product page before deciding rather than treating the colors named in this article as a permanent list.
On the store's product pages, Gold, Titanium, and Rose Gold refer to clasp colors, not materials. Choose a tone that works with your jewelry or clothing, but do not interpret the color name as a statement about the metal's composition.
Compare Product Details, Care Guidance, and Seller Policies
Different sellers have different after-sales policies and care information. Bands from WHOOP are subject to WHOOP's terms, while LUXE MORE bands are subject to the store's product details and policies. Read the information from the seller you actually buy from rather than applying one brand's terms to another.
Before ordering a band from the store, check the model, clasp color, included items, and care guidance on the product page. If you receive the wrong model or color, an incomplete order, or an item damaged on arrival, follow the store's issue-reporting process and provide your order number and photos. Choosing the wrong model yourself is covered by different terms from receiving the wrong item from the store.
These details may be less exciting than a new color on your wrist, but they support a better decision than treating “brand” or “replacement band” as a blanket guarantee.
Choose the Option That Fits How You Will Actually Wear It
If you use WHOOP MG and need ECG readings, choose a product that explicitly states ECG support and has a clasp with the required contact points. Among products sold by the store, SportFlex supports WHOOP MG and can take ECG readings. Do not choose based only on the term “MG” or on a shape that appears to fit the device.
Start with a supported device model, then consider the color, band style, clasp color, real product photos, and item-specific details. SportFlex works with both WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG and can take ECG readings on the MG. SuperKnit Luxe works with WHOOP 5.0 only. Neither line supports WHOOP 4.0.
The choice does not have to end with declaring one side the winner. A band from WHOOP makes sense when a particular function depends on model-specific parts. A replacement band from the store makes sense when compatibility is confirmed and you want a color or style that works with the clothes you actually wear.
- Which WHOOP model do you use: 4.0, 5.0, or MG?
- Do you need ECG, and does that specific product state that it supports the function?
- What does the listing include: the band, clasp, device, or any charms?
- Is the clasp description a color name or material information?
- Which seller provides the care guidance and policy?

Questions to Ask Before Choosing a Band
Do WHOOP 5.0 bands fit WHOOP MG?
A WHOOP help article dated October 9, 2026 states that 5.0 bands physically fit the MG. Guidance dated December 2, 2025 recommends choosing a band for the specific device because physical fit does not confirm support for every MG function. For LUXE MORE products, rely on the compatibility statement on each product page.
Can Every WHOOP Brand Band for the MG Take ECG Readings?
No. Check whether that model's product page states ECG support and whether it includes the required conductive clasp. Do not draw a conclusion from the brand name or the term “MG” alone.
Can LUXE MORE Third-Party Bands Use ECG on the MG?
Yes, if it is SportFlex. This band works with WHOOP MG and can take ECG readings because the clasp has the contact points required for the function. SuperKnit Luxe works with WHOOP 5.0 only.
Do LUXE MORE bands fit WHOOP 4.0?
No. The bands the store lists for WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG use a different attachment system from WHOOP 4.0.
Do Gold, Titanium, and Rose Gold Mean the Clasp Is Made From Those Materials?
No. These are not material descriptions. On LUXE MORE product pages, the terms refer to clasp colors.
Does Buying a Band Include the Device or Charms?
Generally, no. LUXE MORE band listings include the band only, not the device or charms, unless the specific product page clearly says otherwise.
