In short
- WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG bands are interchangeable, but they do not fit WHOOP 4.0.
- SportFlex suits hard training, heavy sweat and water sports.
- SuperKnit Luxe is soft, comfortable all day, smart enough for work, and takes charms.
- Many people keep one of each and swap them in under a minute.
Why the band matters on a WHOOP
WHOOP has no screen and is designed to be worn around the clock: at work, in training and while you sleep. The band is the part that touches your skin the whole time. If it is uncomfortable, you end up taking it off, and your sleep and recovery data goes missing with it.
Fit is the other thing people overlook. WHOOP recommends wearing it snug, about a finger’s width above the wrist bone, so the sensor reads accurately. A band that flexes and adjusts well helps your data too.

Do WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG share bands?
Yes. WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG use the same band system, so every band we sell fits both. WHOOP 4.0 is a different device and does not fit these bands. If you are not sure which model you have, message us before you order.
SportFlex: for the sweaty days

SportFlex is a smooth, washable band, so sweat does not sit in it the way it can in fabric. Rinse it, wipe it dry and it is ready to go. It suits hard training, running, cycling, water sports and working outdoors.
One thing to know: Luxe More charms are designed for fabric bands. If you want to wear charms, pair them with SuperKnit or SuperKnit Luxe.
SuperKnit Luxe: soft, all-day, and made for charms

SuperKnit Luxe is a fine knit that is soft, stretchy and breathable, comfortable enough to sleep in. The metal clasp is what sets it apart: the band looks more like jewellery than fitness gear, so it works at the office or on an evening out.
The knit is also exactly what our charms are made for, and the slide bar holds on to it firmly. If you want your WHOOP to feel more like you, this is the band to start with.

Two bands make life easier

Because WHOOP hardly ever comes off, many people keep two bands: one for training and one for every day. While one is washed and drying, the other is on your wrist and your data keeps flowing.
Swapping bands takes under a minute and needs no tools. Just follow the steps in the WHOOP instructions.
Caring for your band
- Wash the band once a week, or after a very sweaty day.
- Hand wash fabric bands with mild soap and let them air dry fully before wearing.
- Avoid tumble dryers and long hours in strong sun, which fade the colour.
- Always take charms off before washing the band.
Common questions
Do WHOOP 4.0 bands fit WHOOP 5.0?
No. WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG are a new device design, so WHOOP 4.0 bands do not fit them, and 5.0 / MG bands do not fit a 4.0 either.
Do your bands come with a WHOOP device?
No, we sell the band only. It works with the WHOOP 5.0 or WHOOP MG you already have.
Can I put charms on a SportFlex band?
We do not recommend it. Our charms are designed for fabric bands and may not grip a smooth SportFlex band firmly enough. For charms, SuperKnit or SuperKnit Luxe is the better choice.
So which one should you choose?
Think about your usual day. Mostly at the gym or on the field: SportFlex. All-day comfort, with charms: SuperKnit Luxe. Want both? Keep one of each.
