Araya A. Hargate, known as Chompoo, entered the industry in 1998 through the Miss Motor Show contest and is remembered for dramas such as Dao Puen Din (2008) and Dok Som See Thong (2011). Away from acting she posts outfits on Instagram @chomismaterialgirl all the time, and WHOOP often shows up on her wrist. The LUXE MORE team turned those photos into 25 Spotted On graphics showing which band she wears with each look; below they are grouped by band colour.
Most of the graphics name the device as WHOOP MG, one says WHOOP 5.0, and some give only the band. The two look almost identical and share bands. Band names in this article follow the graphics.
Every look, by band colour
White Glacier, with Titanium and Rose Gold clasps

Glacier is a white knit. Chompoo wears it with a silver Titanium clasp alongside a white blouse, a blue embroidered shirt, a striped polo and a floral dress, and with a Rose Gold clasp alongside a cream frilled blouse and an all-white set. A white band keeps a look clean and bright and suits almost any light outfit.
Brown Coffee with Smoke, worn just as often

Coffee with Smoke is a deep brown knit with a dark grey clasp, and it’s the colour Chompoo pairs with the widest range of looks: a brown bandana-print top with a leather bag, a yellow floral outfit, a cream basketball jersey, a cherry-print headscarf with a red-trimmed T-shirt, a white top with jeans, and a yellow T-shirt with cargo trousers. Brown works with earth tones and brights alike, which makes it very easy to wear.
Turquoise Aqua for a bright, sporty look

Aqua with a Titanium clasp is a turquoise knit. Chompoo wears it with a white track suit with black stripes, and with a navy THAILAND T-shirt and a cap. The turquoise stands out against white and navy, which suits easy days.
Pink Blush, with Gold and Titanium clasps

Blush is a soft pink knit. Chompoo wears it with a Gold clasp alongside a head-to-toe pink lace outfit, and with a Titanium clasp alongside a pink T-shirt, pink trousers and tote bags. Matching the band to the outfit makes a look sweet and deliberate.
Black Obsidian: the plainest, and it goes with everything

Obsidian is a black knit with a black clasp. Chompoo wears it with a cream ruffled dress and red lace-up shoes, and with a white T-shirt and black track pants. A black band barely competes with the outfit, so it works every day.
Brights: Rhodonite, Links and Hibiscus

Bright bands become the focal point. Chompoo wears red Rhodonite with a Titanium clasp (this graphic names WHOOP 5.0) with a red jacket and a plaid skirt, green Links with a Titanium clasp with a white scalloped jacket and a green top, and a pink-red Hibiscus SuperKnit with a blue gingham shirt and a navy pinafore. The trick is to repeat one colour from the outfit in the band.
We don’t have Rhodonite or Hibiscus yet; our closest green to Links is Forest.
Workout looks: SportFlex in Glide, and Obsidian

For workouts, Chompoo wears WHOOP MG on a light grey SportFlex band in Glide with a Titanium clasp, with a black sports bra and shorts; in a gym mirror selfie she wears black Obsidian. SportFlex is the band WHOOP makes for sweat and water.
WHOOP Style Edit: one device, many moods

This is our WHOOP Style Edit graphic. Above, Chompoo in a red striped top and thin-framed glasses; below, seven WHOOP bands we laid out: knits in pink, green, olive, brown and charcoal, plus SportFlex in white and black, to show how much one device changes with the band.
Matching band colour to your clothes
- Neutrals (black, grey, navy): go with almost everything and work every day. If you’ll own one band, start here.
- Browns and beiges (Coffee, Maple, Dune, Camel): go with earth tones, linen and gold jewellery.
- Pastels (soft pink, pale blue, white): brighten a look; good for easy days and light outfits.
- Brights (green, red, turquoise): the focal point of a look, with plain outfits or sportswear.
If you wear jewellery, look at the clasp metal too: gold with gold and brass, rose gold with rose gold, and silver tones with silver or white gold.
Choosing the material for the day
Colour matters, but so does material. From WHOOP’s own information:
- SportFlex: silicone, waterproof, resists sweat and dirt; for workouts and swimming.
- SuperKnit and CloudKnit: the fabric bands WHOOP rates softest for sleep; not waterproof.
- SuperKnit Luxe: a knit band with a metal clasp for work and evenings; not waterproof.
- LeatherLuxe: leather, neither waterproof nor sweat-resistant; for dressier days.
How to change the band
Bands change with the Fast Link system: slide the band’s end onto the sensor until it sits flush, press the hook’s two prongs into the small holes on the sides of the sensor, then close the clasp. It takes under a minute, and WHOOP 5.0 and MG bands are interchangeable, so you can rotate as many as you like.
Similar colours in our shop
Our colours closest to Chompoo’s looks are white Glacier, brown Coffee, turquoise Aqua, pink Blush, black Obsidian, Forest green and SportFlex in Glide; from the Style Edit picture there are also Petal pink, Maple brown, and SportFlex in white Charge and black Gravity.
Our bands are third-party replacements that fit WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG (Life). On an MG they can’t take ECG readings, which need WHOOP’s own MG bands; everything else works as normal. They don’t fit WHOOP 4.0.
