Every WHOOP 5.0 / MG (Life) band compared: materials, best uses and Thai prices (2026)

How do SuperKnit, SuperKnit Luxe, SportFlex, CoreKnit, Navigator, CloudKnit, LeatherLuxe and Meridian differ? Which are waterproof, which are best for sleep, which suit the office? From WHOOP’s own information, with prices from WHOOP’s Thai store and what Thai buyers should know about MG bands.

Seven WHOOP bands fanned out on linen: knits, pink silicone, camel leather, and silver and gold metal mesh

In short

  • WHOOP 5.0 and MG have seven wrist band families, SuperKnit (including SuperKnit Luxe), SportFlex, CoreKnit, Navigator, CloudKnit, LeatherLuxe and Meridian, plus the CoreKnit Bicep band.
  • SportFlex (silicone) and Meridian (steel mesh) can get wet; every fabric band and the leather band cannot.
  • On WHOOP’s Thai store on 24 September 2026, prices run from ฿1,490 (CoreKnit) to ฿5,390 (Meridian), and MG versions cost the same as 5.0.
  • Choose the band version listed for your device, especially for MG, which needs an ECG-compatible band for ECG readings. WHOOP 4.0 bands do not fit 5.0 or MG.

WHOOP bands differ in material, water resistance, comfort and device compatibility. For everyday wear or sleep, start with fabric. For swimming or heavy sweat, SportFlex is the better fit. Leather and metal suit work or dressier days. The table below compares WHOOP’s bands from its store and help pages, with Thai prices checked on the date shown.

This article compares WHOOP’s own bands. The bands in the LUXE MORE shop are third-party replacements, so check each product separately. Our SuperKnit Luxe fits WHOOP 5.0. Our SportFlex fits WHOOP 5.0 and MG and includes ECG contacts. Our replacement bands do not fit WHOOP 4.0, and our charms are not made for SportFlex.

The fabric bands: SuperKnit, SuperKnit Luxe, CoreKnit and CloudKnit

SuperKnit

A micro-filament knit of 52% polyamide, 41% polyester and 7% elastane, with a stainless-steel hook, clasp and Fast Link slider. WHOOP calls it its most breathable band and its pick for sensitive skin, made to be worn around the clock: at work, in training and in bed. Not waterproof. One adjustable size, up to 24 cm long and 24 mm wide, in colours such as Coffee, Slate, Maple, Midnight and Obsidian. ฿1,790.

SuperKnit Luxe

The same knit and sizing as SuperKnit, with a gold or titanium-coloured metal clasp; “titanium” is the finish, the metal is stainless steel. WHOOP pitches it from the gym to the office to date night, and it is the band that comes in the WHOOP MG box. Colours include Coffee, Blush, Dune and Obsidian with gold, and Midnight and Obsidian with titanium. ฿3,290.

CoreKnit

90% recycled polyester and 10% elastane with an antimicrobial finish, drying about 40% faster than SuperKnit. Not waterproof. It is the lower-priced everyday and workout band: 24 cm long, 24 mm wide, in Royal Blue, Ash Grey and Jet Black. ฿1,490.

CloudKnit

97% cashmere, 2% elastane and 1% polyamide. WHOOP rates CloudKnit and SuperKnit its softest bands for sleep, and positions CloudKnit for easy and rest days. Not waterproof, and the wool fibres can irritate sensitive skin. In Fawn and Storm. ฿2,190.

Sport and outdoors: SportFlex and Navigator

SportFlex

100% silicone with an adjustable, ventilated closure. Waterproof, and resistant to sweat, dirt and stains, it suits swimming, running and hard training. It breathes less than SuperKnit and can trap moisture. Colours include Bloom, Whisper, Glide, Riptide and Charge. ฿2,190.

Navigator

76% polyamide and 24% elastane with a silicone overlay and a reinforced, no-slip closure; abrasion-resistant and quick-drying. WHOOP calls it its most rugged band, made for hiking and the outdoors and for all weather, rain and snow included, though it isn’t rated waterproof. In Evergreen and Ridgeline. ฿2,890.

For work and evenings: LeatherLuxe and Meridian

LeatherLuxe

Italian leather outside with a synthetic liner that holds the shape, and stainless steel finished in titanium PVD or genuine-gold PVD. There are two cuts: Tapered narrows to 14 mm under the wrist, Straight is 25 mm all the way. S/M fits 13–17 cm wrists and L/XL 16–20.4 cm; if you’re between sizes, WHOOP suggests sizing up and using a smaller ringlet.

It isn’t waterproof or sweat-resistant, the leather stretches with wear, and the gold finish can pick up surface marks over time. It is made for work, formal wear and stacking with jewellery, and comes with a suede pouch. ฿4,690, in colours such as Camel with gold, Black with titanium, and Chestnut Cream with titanium.

Meridian

Milanese stainless-steel mesh with an adjustable magnetic closure, weighing 54 g and fitting wrists of about 15–21 cm, in Gold, Rose Gold, Alloy and Matte Black. It can get wet, but rinse it after sea water or chlorine, and it’s fine for workouts if worn snug. WHOOP sells Meridian in both 5.0 and MG versions. ฿5,390.

Three things to know. Take the band off before charging, as the metal interferes with wireless charging. The strong magnets should stay at least 15 cm from pacemakers or implanted defibrillators, and the band must not go into an MRI scanner. And on an MG, the steel mesh blocks on-demand ECG, though irregular-rhythm alerts still work on eligible devices.

Upper arm: CoreKnit Bicep

A CoreKnit band for the upper arm, for days when your wrist moves a lot, such as lifting or boxing, when WHOOP suggests moving the sensor up anyway. S/M fits arms of about 25–33 cm and L/XL about 33–41 cm, in Jet Black. ฿1,790. It doesn’t support ECG.

Which WHOOP models do they fit?

When buying a WHOOP band, choose the 5.0 or MG option shown on the product page. ECG requires an MG device, a WHOOP Life membership and an ECG-compatible band with conductive contacts. WHOOP 4.0 bands do not fit 5.0 or MG. If a product page does not name the device version, do not assume it is interchangeable.

ECG needs all three: an MG device, a WHOOP Life membership and an MG-version band. If you take ECG readings regularly, make an MG band your main one and keep others to swap in when you want a different look. ECG is only offered in some countries; WHOOP keeps the current list on its Regional Feature Availability page.

Bands change with the Fast Link system: slide the band’s end onto the sensor until it sits flush, press the hook’s two prongs into the small holes on the sides of the sensor, then close the clasp. It takes under a minute.

Which one is for you?

  • Sensitive skin, or the most comfortable sleep: SuperKnit.
  • Swimming, running, heavy sweat: SportFlex.
  • A lower budget, or a quick-drying band: CoreKnit.
  • Hiking and the outdoors: Navigator.
  • Work and evenings: SuperKnit Luxe, LeatherLuxe or Meridian.
  • Lifting and boxing: CoreKnit Bicep.
  • Want charms? Choose a fabric band such as SuperKnit or SuperKnit Luxe. Our charms are not made for SportFlex.

Many people keep two in rotation, one for training and one for work or sleep. WHOOP suggests replacing SuperKnit every 12 months and SportFlex every 12–18 months, and CloudKnit and LeatherLuxe as needed.

Common questions

Which WHOOP bands are waterproof?

SportFlex is waterproof, and Meridian can get wet if you rinse it after sea water or chlorine. Every fabric band and the leather band aren’t waterproof; Navigator is all-weather but not rated waterproof.

Do WHOOP 5.0 bands fit WHOOP MG (Life)?

Choose the option explicitly listed for 5.0 or MG on the product page. To take ECG readings on MG, use an ECG-compatible band with conductive contacts. Do not assume the two versions are interchangeable unless the product page says so.

How long does a WHOOP band last?

WHOOP suggests replacing SuperKnit every 12 months and SportFlex every 12–18 months, and the Fast Link slider when it gets loose. Normal wear isn’t covered by WHOOP’s warranty.
