Sirilak Kwong, known as Lingling, is a Thai–Hong Kong actress and model with Channel 3, best known for playing Dr Fah Lada in the series The Secret of Us (2024) opposite Orm Kornnaphat. In the Instagram photo (@linglingkwong) behind our Spotted On graphic, she wears WHOOP MG on a LeatherLuxe band.
The look

Wearing WHOOP day and night
In bed
WHOOP works out Recovery and Sleep from the hours you sleep, so wear it to bed. WHOOP recommends the wrist at night, since some features are limited on the upper arm, and on an MG, ECG and Blood Pressure Insights need the wrist. Leather is fine for sleep, but WHOOP rates SuperKnit and CloudKnit its softest bands for sleeping.
Charging
You can charge while wearing it by slipping the wireless PowerPack onto the device. 5.0 and MG last 14 days or more per charge. Never charge the PowerPack while it is wet.
Water
The device is rated IP68 to 10 metres, so showers and swimming are fine, but LeatherLuxe isn’t waterproof. Before a shower or a swim, switch to SportFlex, which WHOOP recommends for swimming.
Wearing it in the right place
Wear it about a finger’s width above the wrist bone, snug enough that the band doesn’t slide, no green light leaks out and you can’t easily slip a finger under the sensor.

Our bands are third-party replacements that fit WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG (Life). On an MG they can’t take ECG readings, which need WHOOP’s own MG bands; everything else works as normal. They don’t fit WHOOP 4.0.

What if WHOOP feels uncomfortable in bed?
Try a soft fabric band such as SuperKnit or CloudKnit and loosen it slightly while keeping it snug, since the wrist is the place to wear it at night.
Can I shower with WHOOP on?
The device is rated IP68 to 10 metres, so yes, but swap a leather or fabric band for SportFlex first.
