How to add charms to your WHOOP band in 3 steps, plus styling tips

Every Luxe More charm sits on a silver-tone metal slide bar at the back, made to slide onto WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG fabric bands. No tools, no piercing, no clamping. The first one may take a minute; after that it is quick.

Adding a charm in 3 steps

1. Take the band off your wrist and free its loose end.
2. Thread the loose end through the slide bar on the back of the charm, design facing out.
3. Slide the charm to where you like it, then put the band back on as usual.

If a thick knit feels tight, ease it through one side at a time rather than pulling hard, which can fray the knit. To take a charm off, do the same in reverse and slide it out past the loose end. No prying needed.

How many charms?

There is no rule. Most bands hold three to five charms comfortably, depending on your wrist. If you are new to it, start with the one that means the most to you and add more later. Each charm is sold on its own, so collecting them over time is half the fun.

Styling tips

• Put your favourite charm in the middle with the others either side for balance.
• Keep even gaps between charms; it looks neater than bunching them together.
• Match colours to the band: beige and cream suit white and gold charms, while navy or black makes blue and red charms stand out.
• Tell a story: a heart and a dove for someone you love, or a horseshoe and a hamsa for a fresh start.
• For a minimal look, a single charm beside the clasp is enough.

Caring for your charms

• Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after sweat or lotion.
• Take them off before chlorinated pools or the sea to keep the colour and shine.
• Ceramic is tough, but a hard knock can chip it. Take charms off for weightlifting or contact sports.
• Store them in a box or velvet tray, kept apart so they do not knock together.
