In short
- Baifern wears WHOOP MG on a Coffee SuperKnit Luxe band with a rose gold clasp, with a polka-dot top and jeans.
- WHOOP MG comes with the WHOOP Life membership, which adds Heart Screener (ECG) and Blood Pressure Insights to Peak.
- ECG needs all three: an MG device, a Life membership and an MG-version band, and it’s only offered in some countries.
- 5.0 and MG bands swap freely; a third-party band fits an MG but can’t take ECG readings.
Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul, known as Baifern, broke through with the film A Little Thing Called Love and won Nataraj Awards for TV dramas such as Bai Mai Tee Plid Plew. In the Instagram photo (@baifernbah) we turned into a Spotted On graphic, she wears WHOOP MG on a Coffee SuperKnit Luxe band.
The look

The Coffee SuperKnit Luxe is a deep brown knit, and its rose gold clasp makes it read as jewellery, with the black-and-white polka-dot top and jeans in the photo. The device is a WHOOP MG, which comes with the WHOOP Life membership.
How WHOOP MG differs from WHOOP 5.0
WHOOP launched both in May 2025. They look almost the same, share the same bands and both last 14 days or more per charge. The difference is the heart and blood pressure features that only the MG has, with the Life membership. WHOOP offers three membership levels.
| Membership | Device | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| WHOOP One | WHOOP 5.0 | Sleep, Recovery, Strain and workouts |
| WHOOP Peak | WHOOP 5.0 | Everything in One, plus Health Monitor, Stress Monitor, VO2 Max, Healthspan and Pace of Aging |
| WHOOP Life | WHOOP MG | Everything in Peak, plus Heart Screener (ECG) and Blood Pressure Insights |
Heart Screener takes a 30-second ECG through contacts on the band’s clasp to screen for signs of atrial fibrillation (AFib). Blood Pressure Insights estimates daily systolic and diastolic ranges, which WHOOP describes as wellness information, not a medical device.
What ECG needs
ECG needs all three: a WHOOP MG, a WHOOP Life membership and an MG-version band with conductive contacts in the clasp, used while the device is dry. On any other band everything else works, but ECG doesn’t. ECG is only offered in some countries; WHOOP keeps the current list on its Regional Feature Availability page.
Which one is for you?
- Sleep, recovery and workouts: WHOOP 5.0 with One is enough.
- Stress Monitor, VO2 Max and Healthspan: WHOOP 5.0 with Peak.
- ECG or Blood Pressure Insights: WHOOP MG with Life, after checking that they’re offered where you live.
Similar colours in our shop
We have a Coffee SuperKnit Luxe band with a rose gold clasp, close to the one Baifern wears, and Coffee with a gold clasp and a Coffee SuperKnit too.
Our bands are third-party replacements that fit WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG (Life). On an MG they can’t take ECG readings, which need WHOOP’s own MG bands; everything else works as normal. They don’t fit WHOOP 4.0.
Frequently asked questions
What is WHOOP Life?
WHOOP’s top membership. It comes with a WHOOP MG and has everything in Peak plus Heart Screener (ECG) and Blood Pressure Insights.
Can I take ECG readings with your band on a WHOOP MG?
No. ECG needs WHOOP’s own MG band with contacts in the clasp; everything else works as normal.
Can Blood Pressure Insights replace a blood pressure monitor?
No. WHOOP describes it as wellness information, not a medical device. If you’re concerned about your blood pressure, measure it with a monitor and see a doctor.
