To borrow the idea, match your band to the bag or shoes you\u2019re building the outfit around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wearing WHOOP with jewellery and keeping it accurate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WHOOP reads your heart with light shone through the skin, so the sensor has to stay against it. Anything that loosens the band, lets it slide or lets light under the sensor can throw readings off. WHOOP\u2019s help pages give these rules:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wear it about a finger\u2019s width above the wrist bone; any closer and accuracy drops.<\/li>\n\n<li>Snug means the band doesn\u2019t slide, no green light leaks out, and you can\u2019t easily slip a finger under the sensor.<\/li>\n\n<li>Keep lotion, sunscreen, sweat and dirt out from under the sensor.<\/li>\n\n<li>Bright light getting under the sensor also skews readings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our own advice on jewellery: wear an extra bracelet or watch on the other wrist, or further towards the hand, so it doesn\u2019t crowd the device or loosen the band. On an MG they can\u2019t take ECG readings, which need WHOOP\u2019s own MG bands; everything else works as normal.
