So we traced where these tables come from and why they differ, and put together one table whose every cell can be explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where the tables come from<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The widely shared daily tables come from the same Taksa wheel used for birth-day colours; only the starting point differs. A birth-day chart starts from your birth planet, while a daily table starts from the planet of the day you wear the colour. That day\u2019s colour is Boriwan, and counting clockwise gives Ayu, Det, Sri, Mula, Utsaha, Montri and Kalakini. Kapook prints the table with all eight positions, and the astrologer Mor Kai notes on his 2025 table that it counts from the current day, not your birth day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the Taksa wheel and its positions are new to you, our Taksa article explains them; the tables below use the same wheel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why the websites disagree<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We compared two 2026 Monday tables. Both give red as the colour to avoid, but the other categories are swapped around. The colour to avoid is the most consistent column of all. Splitting Wednesday into day and night belongs to birth-day charts, not to the day you wear a colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Check it against your birth day<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ajarn Khatha explains there are two ways to avoid Kalakini colours: by your birth day or by today. To be thorough, use both: choose from today\u2019s row, then drop your own birth-day Kalakini colour. For example, the Kalakini colour for Sunday-born people is light blue or navy; on a Monday, when the table gives light blue or navy as the patrons colour, pick the work or luck colour instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not sure of your birth-day Kalakini colour? It uses the same wheel and tells Wednesday day and night apart for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where the custom comes from<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choosing colours by the day is an old habit. Sunthorn Phu\u2019s Sawatdi Raksa, around 1822\u20131824, gives colours for battle dress by the day you fight, and day colours became a court convention under King Rama V, though the set kept shifting for some time after. The Taksa-from-the-day table itself appears on Kapook from around 2012; before that, the same page carried a different table. Since at least 2021, major Thai media have run named astrologers\u2019 tables every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plu Luang, a respected Thai astrologer, warned that being too strict about colours only costs you for nothing.
